This curriculum guide is intended to cover important information about course offerings at Forest High School. Periodically, we update the content of this guide to reflect current trends and/or changing requirements. It should be read and studied carefully to ensure you make the best choices for your educational program.

It is important to note that final course placement is determined by academic achievement, test scores, teacher recommendations, and student and parent preferences. Our faculty and staff will provide assistance in developing your plan and I encourage you to continually update it and stay focused.

		Use of this Guide Use this guide to acquaint yourself with the programs, courses of study, and major areas of interest offered at Forest High School. We encourage students, parents, teachers and counselors to work together to create a personal academic plan for the upcoming school year that will be most effective in meeting your academic and professional goals. The courses in this guide are proposed courses. They will be offered based on student interest and district funding. Students who score level 1 or 2 in Reading or Math will be placed in an intensive class regardless of the elective courses selected.
