Drama News

The Drama Club will be participating in the 3rd annual Trick or Treat so Kids Can Eat. This National Campaign helps raise canned foods to help fight hunger in our local communities. All donations will be given to Shepherd's Lighthouse in Belleview Florida. Starting October 22, there are two ways you can help. We will be selling bags of candy at lunch for $1. The profits will then be used to buy canned foods. Or, if you bring in 3 canned food items, we will give you a bag of candy. Last year, we raised over 180 pounds of food, which greatly surpassed our goal. Hopefully we will have great success again this year!

Please mark your calendars early. We will be presenting Agatha Christie's "The Mousetrap" Friday, December 7 and Saturday, December 8 at 7:00. Tickets for students are $3 in advance or $4 at the door. Tickets for adults are $5 in advance or $6 at the door. Please contact Miss Keenan if you have any questions.

Forest students Kayla David and Katie Wagner will be performing in Macabaret 5.0: The Good, The Bad And The Ugly, at the Ocala Civic Theatre. This will be a night of music, comedy, Halloween atmosphere, and not your typical night of theatre. Performances are Friday, October 19, at 7; Saturday October 20 (2 and 7); Sunday, October 21, at 2; and Saturday October 27, (2 and 7). Tickets are just $6 per person. Call 236.2274 to reserve your seats.
