From The Principal's Desk

Dear Forest Parents,

The 2007-2008 school year has begun with many new faces here on the Forest campus. We have approximately 625 new freshmen joining us on campus. Our total enrollment is slightly over 2300 students. Those freshmen who joined us on Visitation Day certainly got a great opportunity to view their tentative schedule and map out their routes for opening day.

Forest High School offers a variety of activities for you and your student to become an active “Wildcat”. Academics, extra-curricular activities, sports, and others offer students the opportunity to enjoy a meaningful high school experience. You, the parent, can play a key role in being involved not only in your child’s activities but also their education. Organizations such as the School Advisory Committee (SAC), Booster Clubs, and support groups are great ways to become involved.

Each month FHS will send out a newsletter providing information for our parents and students. Please review the newsletter for important dates and information relating to your child’s education. Thank you for your support as FHS looks forward to a great year.

Go Wildcats!
