Hello to all of the awesome Wildcats and Cadets out there! This month has definitely flown by and our Corp has accomplished so much already. A couple of weeks ago, the Drill Competition teams attended their first competition which was held at the local high school in Lowndes, Georgia. Congratulations to all of the participating cadets that took fourth place overall. The cadets were given the opportunity to participate in community service events throughout the month of October. These events included several Cross Country meets, the Druid Hills United Methodist Annual Pumpkin Patch, and the Fall Festival at Maplewood Elementary. Thank you to all the participating cadets and parents who volunteered their personal time to serve our community. There was a wonderful turnout of parents and cadets at the Cross Country meet on Saturday, 20 October. Some of our cadets and wildcats placed in this event. Big congratulations to them for their dedication and hard work. Sunday, 21 October, our cadets experienced their first United States Air Force Air Show. This event was held at Moody Air Force Base and several cadets experienced first hand what it is like to be in the Air Force. They were also given the opportunity to talk with the best airmen and officers in the Air Force. We look forward to an awesome end to the year of 2007 and the many great events that are coming up in the near future some of which will be the Christmas Parade and the Annual Military Ball. We hope to see many of you at some of our upcoming events. Remember to always keep our Corp Values in mind: “Integrity first, Service before self, and Excellence in all that we do.” HOOAH!
