From The Principal's Desk

Dear Forest Parents,

This newsletter will serve as the December and January monthly bulletin. There will be quite a bit of information in this issue that you should find useful. So, with the busy holiday season upon us, please mark the following dates on your calendar as a reminder.

Winter Break starts with an early dismissal of school on December 14 at 12:45. Classes will resume on January 3 with an emphasis of preparing the students for semester exams which will be administered on January 14, 15 and 16. Students will then be out of school January 16-21 for a teacher work day, a day of in-service training, and Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Tuesday, January 22, will mark the start of the second semester.

The SAC meetings for the next two months are December 3 and January 14. As always, the meetings will be held in the Media Center at 6:30 p.m. and all are welcome to attend. The December meeting will focus on teacher mini-grants so I hope you are able to participate.

I wish each and everyone a very happy, healthy and safe holiday season. Thanks for all you do to help make Forest such a success!

Go Wildcats!
