From The Principal's Desk Dear Forest Parents, We are now into the third grading period. Report cards were sent home January 28 so if you have not seen it, please contact our guidance office. FHS is proud to announce Forest’s representatives for employee honors. EMIT teacher Teresa Shultz-Nourse was chosen by her peers as the FHS Teacher of the Year and Math teacher Raymond James was chosen as our Rookie Teacher of the Year. Jody Webb was also chosen by his peers as the Non-Instructional Employee of the Year. Congratulations to each of them. They are great examples of the people that make Forest so successful. February is the beginning of FCAT testing. Our students and teachers have been preparing for this key event. Ninth, tenth and eleventh grade students will be involved in the coming weeks. Even seniors are affected because classes are moved to accommodate the testing process. Preliminary testing data indicates our students are working hard and we are confident that the final testing results will prove this for many students. Good luck to all Forest students on the FCAT. Please mark your calendars for an early release on February 13th and no school on February 18th. Chester Gregory
