PTO News

Happy New Year!  Once again because of your involvement in the Forest High School PTO, we were able to do some special things for our staff.

  • In November, Lee Ann Thurston treated our staff with an acorn and peanut mix.
  • In January, Jennie Weaver surprised our staff with a special message and a treat.

The Holiday Luncheon was a total success!   Our staff was able to get together and enjoy a lunch that we prepared for them.   They were very appreciative.   A big thanks to those of you who sent in food items and helped make wontons.  The PTO Network Committee was hard at work making phone calls to parents so that the luncheon would be a success.

A special thank you goes to Penny Garrett, Lori Ciraco, Hope Gilman, Lee Ann Thurston, Jennie Weaver, Julie Ennis, Diane Bigelow, Sandra Bobbitt, Carol Verrando, Becky London, Mr. Gregory, Denise Vitale, Jim Long, Jim LaMotte and Jim Kennedy and his wonderful students for their hard work.  We could not have done this without your support in joining our PTO membership.  Thank you to all of you who are Forest High School PTO members.

Our next event is the Valentine's Day Bakeoff!  If you would like to contribute to this event, please bake something yummy and bring your baked goods to the Forest High School front office by 10:30 AM on Thursday, February 14, 2008.

If you have any questions, please contact Melia Sommer at 867-7662.  We appreciate your involvement in this school and your involvement with the students.

Please welcome our newest members to the PTO:
