Dear Forest Parents,

We are finishing preparation for FCAT testing which will occur in March. Our students and teachers have worked very hard in preparation for the test and I am confident the results will be good. Test dates are March 11th and 12th. Please help prepare your son or daughter for this most important assessment. Proper diet, rest, and self-confidence are key ingredients in their approach to the test.

March will be a busy month for a lot of reasons. In addition to FCAT, the end of the 3rd grading period is March 25th which means report cards will probably be issued right before Spring Break. Our next SAC meeting will be held March 10th where we will review documents for the upcoming Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Accreditation visit scheduled for April.

The Forest High School administration values and trusts your input as parents. We are asking for your help by way of an on-line parent survey. This survey is used for assessing school improvement needs and developing the 2008-2009 School Improvement Plan.
